Event 177 – Converter DC Precharge Voltage High

Event Description

The measured DC precharge voltage (DC bus voltage) is higher than the expected or achievable system voltage. The converter may not be able to connect to such a voltage.

  • This event is usually tiggered after a timeout, which is determined by the application and the mode of the application.
  • To avoid high inrush currents, the application prevents the switching of the DC Link to the DC bus, if this error occurs.
  • The error is triggered by the converter control unit, which is part of the Power Electronic Unit.
