Event Description
The measured DC link current on the power converter is too low or negative (reverse polarity).
- The DC current is too low if it is below the expected system current or it becomes unexpected negative.
- The error is triggered by the converter control unit, which is part of the Power Electronic Unit.
![]() Information The power converter is the power electronics unit that converts the generator voltage into the voltage required by the user system (e.g. inverter, rectifier or DC/DC converter). The DC link current is the current on high voltage electrolytic or polymer DC capacitors. The DC-Link-Current is the current that flows into the high voltage DC capacitors. Dependent on the topology the current is measured at the DC link input or output line. |

Causes and solutions
| Common causes | Possible solutions |
| Current sensors in the power electronics are not connected, reverse mounted or defective. | Check the current sensors for correct connection, mounting and for defects. |
| Fully discharged DC capacitors are connected to power supply without precharge, resulting in a short-term but high reverse inrush current. | If this inrush current triggers this error, the configuration parameter of the generator must be adjusted or the user system must be designed so that this situation is prevented and does not occur. |
| A negative current occurs caused by defective power electronics parts or a short circuit. | Contact the Fischer Panda Service. |
