Event Description
Event from the ECU of the Diesel Engine: »Protection Lamp«. With the »Protection Lamp« that is coded in J1939-DM1 message, errors of the Diesel Engine e.g., engine cooling temperature high are signaled.
The »Protect Lamp« is typically activated by the engine control unit to indicate certain protective functions or fault conditions. The exact triggers for the activation of the Protect Lamp may vary depending on the engine manufacturer and the specific implementation of the engine control unit.
