Causes and solutions
| Common causes | Possible solutions |
| The engine oil filter is blocked | Change oil and filter |
| The engine oil level is too high (too much oil or foreign liquids in the oil, for example, fuel or coolant) | Check oil level and correct it. If necessary, check how foreign liquids get into the engine oil and eliminate the cause. |
| The engine oil viscosity is too high | Change oil to correct viscosity grade and change filter |
| The oil pressure sensor is defective | Check the function of the oil pressure sensor and replace it, if necessary |
