Causes and solutions

Common causes	Possible solutions
The AC voltage may drop below its lower limit when the generator is overloaded. This is the case when connected loads require more than the maximum power of the generator	Reduce the load to nominal generator value. Follow the nominal power rating on the rating plate.
The servomotor doesn’t work correctly or it can not move freely	Check the free movement of the servomotor
The servo motor is not set correctly	Check the servomotor adjustment and correct, if necessary
The servo motor is defective	Check the servomotor itself and replace it, if necessary
Fuel supply	Check fuel level first. Then check all the parts of the fuel system
Over-excitation: The booster capacitors are permanently switched on because the booster relay is stuck	Check the booster relay and replace it, if necessary
