New Control for Inverter Generators

There is a new version of the iControl2 controller for the inverter generators. Both the control board and the remote control panel have received a hardware update.

In its new version, the control board is called »iControl 2.5«. It is an intermediate step before a completely new control will appear with the »iControl 3« version. The control panel comes directly as »iControl 3 remote control panel«.


The control board and the remote control panel of the new »iControl 2.5« are pin-compatible with the previous »iControl 2« hardware and have the same dimensions. Therefore the new iControl 2.5 can replace the previous hardware for all generator types with iControl 2 control.

The Control Panel »iControl 3«

  • The controls are the same as the iControl 2 panel.
  • The known display pages of the iControl2 panel remain unchanged.
  • The assignment of the socket for the panel connection cable (1) is pin-compatible with the iControl2 panel.
  • The automatic start contact is on a separate connection socket (2).
  • The display pages for error messages have been given a new layout.

Note: The assignment of the socket for the connection cable on the PMGi is pin-compatible with the iControl2 system.
