Causes and solutions
| Common causes | Possible solutions |
| Short circuit or open circuit on the data lines | Check the data lines of the inverter control cable for short circuit and open circuit. If necessary, repair data lines or replace the control cable |
| The data lines for CAN-High and CAN-Low are swapped at the plug of the Inverter control cable | Swap the cables of CAN-High and CAN-Low |
| Control board of the generator or the inverter is defective (CAN transceiver) | Disconnect inverter from CAN bus. If the communication error does not occur while the inverter is disconnected, there may be a problem with the control board of the inverter. If the communication error persists, there may be a problem with the generator control board |
| Bus termination is missing or incorrect | Check bus termination |
