You can connect a Fischer Panda AGT generator to a battery management system (BMS). In BMS UI mode the AGT can control either on voltage or on current.
Functional description
In BMS UI mode the AGT can control either on voltage or on current. The battery management system (BMS) delivers the input values. It uses a CAN message (PGN 65305) to specify the control variable and further parameters. The flags in SPN 520270 determine whether voltage or current should be regulated. These flags are also used to code whether the other size (current in case of control for voltage and vice versa) is to be used as limiter.
There are four options to use the BMS UI mode:

| 2 | control current / no limiter | when regulating to current (I_charge) without limitation the voltage (U_bat) is ignored |
| 3 | control current / voltage limiter | the current (I_charge) is regulated if the battery voltage (U_bat) is below its limit value (U_limit), when the battery voltage reaches its limit, the system switches to voltage control |
