CAN bus connection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The \u00bbfpControl Connection Board – Generator\u00ab (fpControl CB-G)<\/a> board provides a terminal for the connection to the fpControl CAN Bus \u00bbfpCAN\u00ab<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore the ports “CAN BUS +” (Pin 1) and “CAN BUS \u2013” (Pin 2) are not connected. Terminating the CAN Bus<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The ends of the fpCAN network must be terminated with a 120 Ohm resistor. The terminating resistor on the Inverter control board \u00bbFP1602\u00ab<\/a> must be set with a jumper. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:<\/strong> Pay attention to correct termination. Missing termination resistors are a common cause of problems with the bus communication.
Measuring: When two bus members are terminated with 120 Ohms resistors, 60 Ohms should be measured in the bus.

The Hybrid Charger as an fpCAN Bus participant<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Each participant on the fpCAN has it unique module ID. In the generator menu of the \u00bbfpControl Control Panel – Generator\u00ab (fpControl CP-G)<\/a> can be checked, that the Hybrid Charger<\/a> is a participant on the fpCAN Bus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
