This device ensures the parallel connection of two asynchronous generators. It is connected to the two generators via the fpCAN and switches in phase and at the zero crossing. The xControl systems offers the modes <strong>\u00bbOFF\u00ab<\/strong> and <strong>\u00bbON\u00ab<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"56\" height=\"56\" class=\"wp-image-2536\" style=\"width: 56px;\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/knowledgebase.fischerpanda.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/information_sbu_transparent_52px.png\"><br>The setting of the mode for the parallel operation must be <strong>the same for both generators<\/strong> of the parallel connection.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"56\" height=\"56\" class=\"wp-image-2536\" style=\"width: 56px;\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/knowledgebase.fischerpanda.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/information_sbu_transparent_52px.png\"><br>In parallel operation, the mode <strong>\u00bbOFF\u00ab<\/strong> must not be set for any of the generators. Only the modes <strong>\u00bbON\u00ab<\/strong> and <strong>\u00bbAUTO\u00ab<\/strong> are allowed.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Parallel mode deactivated \u2013 \u00bbOFF\u00ab<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only single generator 1 OR single generator 2 is in operation. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A load contactor release test is performed for single generator 1 \/ single generator 2.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The load contactor is switched on <strong>directly<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If there is a paralleling device active in the fpCAN bus, even though the parallel mode of the \u00bbfpControl GC-S\u00ab is deactivated (OFF), the error <a href=\"https:\/\/knowledgebase.fischerpanda.de\/?p=1051\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">event 141 \u00bbSynchronization mode deactivated\u00ab<\/a> is generated. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Parallel mode activated \u2013 \u00bbON\u00ab<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Generator 1 AND generator 2 can be operated in parallel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A load contactor release test is performed for parallel mode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This test evaluates whether the fpCAN bus of the second generator is online. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If so, the system waits for the parallel device \u00bbfpControl PD-A\u00ab to enable the load contactor. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the fpCAN bus of the second generator is offline, the warning <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/knowledgebase.fischerpanda.de\/?p=3767\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">event 168 \u00bbBus #1 dead\u00ab<\/a> is generated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In this case the load contactor can be enabled on the panel:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"128\" height=\"64\" src=\"https:\/\/knowledgebase.fischerpanda.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/second_gen_switch_now.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4559\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Enabling the load contactor on the panel<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If the load contactor will not be enabled on the panel, the error <a href=\"https:\/\/knowledgebase.fischerpanda.de\/?p=3767\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">event 168 \u00bbBus #1 dead\u00ab<\/a> is generated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>\u00bbON\u00ab<\/strong> mode, it is cyclically checked whether the paralleling device \u00bbfpControl PD-A\u00ab is still active in the fpCAN bus or not. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If not, the error <a href=\"https:\/\/knowledgebase.fischerpanda.de\/?p=1022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">event 139 \u00bbSynchronization module communication lost\u00ab<\/a> is generated.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Automatic parallel mode \u2013 \u00bbAUTO\u00ab<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the automatic parallel mode, it is first checked whether a paralleling device \u00bbfpControl PD-A\u00ab is active in the fpCAN bus or not.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If there is a <strong>paralleling device active in the fpCAN bus<\/strong>, a load contactor release test is performed for parallel mode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The procedure is then the same as described in the \u00bbON\u00ab mode above.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If there is <strong>no active paralleling device in the fpCAN bus<\/strong> the load contactor of single generator 2 basically has to be enabled on the panel:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"128\" height=\"64\" src=\"https:\/\/knowledgebase.fischerpanda.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/second_gen_switch_now.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4559\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Enabling the load contactor on the panel<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the <strong>\u00bbAUTO\u00ab<\/strong> mode, it is cyclically checked whether the paralleling device is still active in the fpCAN bus or not. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If not, the error <a href=\"https:\/\/knowledgebase.fischerpanda.de\/?p=1022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">event 139 \u00bbSynchronization module communication lost\u00ab<\/a> is generated. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Requirement:<\/strong> You must enter the service password while the function is being called.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Function call:<\/strong> service &gt;
