You can configure the function of these digital outputs in the service menu of the control panel. This is useful, for example, to extend the functionality of the generator control. For each of the two outputs several profiles are available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If more than two multifunctional outputs are required, the number of outputs can be expanded by 8 using the external IO module. The output remains on until the generator is stopped by the pressing the start\/stop button again.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>on start (+delay)<\/strong><\/td><td>The output is switched on with the start request. The generator starts delayed after the delay time has run out. You can set the delay time under \u00bbparam for output 1 (2)\u00ab.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>external fuel pump<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Profile available from software release 0V07 of \u00bbfpControl GC-S\u00ab and release 5V04 of \u00bbfpControl GC-P\u00ab.<\/strong> <br>The output switches the fuel pump on and off depending on the filling level supplied by an <a aria-label=\"external CAN bus tank sensor (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/knowledgebase.fischerpanda.de\/?p=3408\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">external CAN bus tank sensor<\/a>. <br>This profile is required for the <a aria-label=\"tank refill function of fpControl (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/knowledgebase.fischerpanda.de\/?p=3910\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tank refill function of fpControl<\/a>. <strong>Note:<\/strong> This profile can only be used with multifunction output 2 (5 A). <\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading h5-grey-background\">Setting the parameter value for the selected profile<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"56\" height=\"56\" class=\"wp-image-2536\" style=\"width: 56px;\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/knowledgebase.fischerpanda.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/information_sbu_transparent_52px.png\"><br><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>NOTE: <\/strong>You cannot set a parameter value for each profile. Currently, only the profile \u00bbon start (+delay)\u00ab has an adjustable parameter. If you have selected a profile for which you cannot set a parameter value, you will see a dialog in which the minimum and maximum values are set to \u00bb0\u00ab.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select for which multifunction output the parameter value should be set:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>param for output 1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>param for output 2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set the parameter value.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm your adjustment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Repeat the steps for the second multifunction output, if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this example, the profile &#8220;on&nbsp;start&nbsp;(+delay)&#8221; is selected and confirmed for the multifunction output 1 (param for output 1). When this warning occurs, the output is activated.
