This switch-over is used if the mains voltage fails. When the mains voltage is restored, the switch-over can switch back to shore power. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"h5-grey-background wp-block-heading\">Functional description of the shore power switch-over<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The \u00bbfpControl Measurement Unit &#8211; MM-3\u00ab (fpControl MM-3) measures the electrical data of the shore power connection. It measures the AC voltage and the AC current in 3 phases. These electrical values are made available on the fpCAN. A second fpControl MM-3 measures the electrical parameters of the generator in the same way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Paralleling Device ensures the parallel connection of shore power and generator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the generator is off and the shore power is safely available within its electrical limit values and for a specified time, the shore power is switched on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the start \/ stop button of the utility panel you can request the switch-over to shore power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the shore power is no longer available within its electrical limit values and for a specified time, the shore power is switched off. The generator is started via remote start. The generator starts automatically if the mains voltage fails.
