Function description<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The fpControl system<\/a> offers the possibility to carry out several start-up attempts in the automatic start mode. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the generator does not reach the required starting speed during a start-up attempt, a new start attempt is made if the possible number of start-up attempts is set > 1. There is a waiting periode between two start-up attempts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the generator does not reach the required starting speed even after the last start-up attempt, the \u00bbfpControl GC-S\u00ab<\/a> aborts the starting process with Event 26 \u2013 Engine revolution (RPM) low<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Setting the number of start-up attempts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You can set the value for the number of start-up attempts in the generator menu of the \u00bbfpControl Control Panel – Generator\u00ab (fpControl CP-G)<\/a>. The minimum value is always \u00bb1\u00ab. The maximum value for the number of start-up attempts is dependent on the generator type. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
