Fischer Panda Generators equipped with xControl, iControl2 or fpControl can be connected with an NMEA 2000\u00ae network using the <a aria-label=\"\u00bbCommunication Interface CI - NMEA 2000\u00ae\u00ab (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/knowledgebase.fischerpanda.de\/?p=3454\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00bbCommunication Interface CI &#8211; NMEA 2000\u00ae\u00ab<\/a> (fpControl CI-NMEA 2000\u00ae). In this way, the generator data can be displayed on the MFD. But not all MFDs support all relevant PGNs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading h3-weiss-blau\">Which generator data can be viewed on which Marine MFDs?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a generator manufacturer, we are interested in which operating data of the generator are shown on a multifunction display and which operating options the device offers for generators. <br>To test which generator data can be displayed on current MFDs, we took a closer look at these four models: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a aria-label=\"Lowrance HDS7 Live (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lowrance.com\/de-de\/lowrance\/type\/fishfinder-kartenplotter\/hds-7-live-row-noxd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lowrance HDS7 Live<\/a> (Version 19.1, Application 62.1.153, Platform 35.0-92-g8c242f836)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a aria-label=\"Raymarine Axiom 7 (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.raymarine.de\/multifunktionsdisplays\/axiom\/axiom7.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Raymarine Axiom 7<\/a> (Operating System LightHouse 4, Software Version:&nbsp;LH4.7.182, October 2024)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a aria-label=\"Garmin GPSMAP 722 Plus (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/buy.garmin.com\/de-DE\/DE\/p\/685416\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Garmin GPSMAP 722 Plus<\/a> (Software release 28.41, Q4 2024 marine software update, October 2024)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a aria-label=\"CZone Touch 5 (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.czone.net\/en\/solutions\/control\/direct-control#touch5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CZone Touch 5<\/a> (Software Version 6.12.4.0)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not all devices that we tested interpret the NMEA 2000\u00ae PGNs for AC information (PGN 127744 to 127749), which are supported by the \u00bbfpControl CI-NMEA 2000\u00ab to provide the AC values of the generator. You can assign the data (SPNs) of the NMEA 2000\u00ae \/ J1939 network to these elements according to your own needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are no predefined page layouts for displaying the electrical parameters of the generator. Such pages must be configured by the user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"56\" height=\"56\" class=\"wp-image-2536\" style=\"width: 56px;\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/knowledgebase.fischerpanda.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/information_sbu_transparent_52px.png\"><br><strong>Note:<\/strong> Not all display elements of the basic page layouts can be assigned all available SPNs. Raymarine has officially released the updated version of the LightHouse software that allows generator start\/stop from their MFD. This device only uses two PGNs from the set of PGNs that Fischer Panda supports (NMEA 2000\u00ae PGN 127488 and 127489).
